At Welcome to Wellness we educate and follow the 5 Fundamentals of Health that govern life, health and wellness.   Reflexology can positively affect the central nervous system , reduce stress and assist with detoxification through the feet to improve circulation. These benefits touch on Fundamentals 1, 2 and 5 (Mindset, Nervous System and Detoxification). 


Reflexology originated over 5000 years ago in the traditions of the Mayans, in Egypt, India, China, and Native Indian Traditions.

Today the therapy is based on the fact that the nerve impulses that arrive in the feet and through pressure in exact points and reflexes send signals back to the brain, organs, muscles, glands, and promote homeostasis (BALANCE), to the nervous system.


Chiropractic and reflexology work hand in hand to create an optimal experience.  By adding reflexology to their current chiropractic plan, many have experienced an increase in the positive effects of their spinal adjustments and quickened recovery time from accident, illness or a stressful season they were walking through.
